    BMW Rental in Munich

Does anybody know any decent places to rent a BMW in munich?

So far the best thing I can find is a 525i, or a 318, I want something with a decent amount of power, and nothing UNDER a e39 530i, must be a manual transmission.

I found one place with a 540i 6 Speed E39, but they just stopped renting them, so any ideas?

Get your wallet ready. From the few that I spoke to that went to Germany, renting an old Jetta already broke their wallet.

And gas will be an eye-popper. I'd consider a BMW or Mercedes turbo diesel if I were you. autoeurope.com has them.

Money is not a HUGE issue, I was looking at some Porsche's as well, just a hair out of my rental price range.

autoeurope had a few nice cars, but they still top the scales at the 525i

Just go for the Porsche. You will only run the ring once in your life.

Keep in mind it's f*cking Europe, and Europe has f*cking small engines

Be happy with an 740d or an 530d those are real big here and huge "torquemasters" in ECE norms

James, just go all out and get the 911. Darkwing is right, you will only get to run the ring once.

get a fiat 1.3L diesel or something uber slow.... it'll make your car feel like a racecar when you get home.

I dont know how old you are but age can be a big issue when renting a car in Munich let alone any place in Europe. When I went to a few months ago I went to "sixt" I met a guy over there who hooked me up with a car but it was still spendy.

Because I was under 25 (I am 22) I could not rent anything bigger than a 2.2L So I took the BMW 520i. I wanted a Diesel but they were all gone. And driving on the Autobahn will killl fuel economy..... obviously. I spend 92 usd to fill the damm car up. Was it worth it hell yes. cruising at 140 and getting passed by an M5 at well over that was quite a treat.

My rental at the end of this month is a 320i 5speed. It is running about $1300/2weeks (USD). I rented from Obitz.com and am picking up from the airport in Munich.
