There is actually a 'guideline' if you will, for signature size somewhere in the forum rules etc.

      "Signature and Avatar guidelines:

Signature picture maximum size is 650 pixels wide by 225 pixels tall. Your signature should never exceed either of these limitations. Having a signature is a privilege, please be considerate of those on dial up, or those who run low screen resolutions.

Avatar pictures maximum size is 100 pixels wide by 100 pixels tall. Your avatar cannot exceed these limitations. Having a avatar is a privilege. Abuse it, and it will be revoked.

Do not use obscene or otherwise distasteful content in your signature or avatar. Some of our members do post from school or work. PLEASE, no animated signatures, thank you.

I hate the huge sigs as well, however I do like seeing sigs as a point of interest when posting like they are intended, so I will not turn them off. I have a 24" set to 1920x1200 so thats not the issue either.

It'd be nice if the sig rules were implemented as the avatar rules are.

You can disable signatures and or avatars under "User CP". You can also up your posts per page to 40 posts if you want. Doing that makes forum browsing so much nicer lol.

                      Moderate this....

More than the size of the pic, it's all the quoted text and other lines of text that gets sigs out of control.

I think so, maybe not significantly larger but when you'll see it you know what I mean. It's just... not necessary.

I'll make myself a new sig later. This one isn't even relevant anymore.
