So, I see you've discovered the Maslak oto sanayi.

I lol'ed when I saw this. That '02 has been there for years. At least since 2007 or so. Full resto. I'm amazed it's not finished yet.

          That explains it! Lol.

When I saw the car, it was pretty far along in the restoration. I guess it's a coincidence that they're doing another round tail-light '02 that happens to be the same color.

Nice Turk! I just heard rumor that you were in MKE not long ago. I suspect I was in Germany then :( Anyway, I hope you find what you are looking for.

Ok, so first, some BMW related pics, and then randoms.

Prez of the BMWCTR was kind enough to invite me to a "Welcome to Summer meet." No car meet really, due to parking constraints, but the brunch was awesome. Here are a few, the rest can be found here: http://bmwctr.com/bmw-club-galeri-detay.asp?albumID=32

It was so hot, we decided to go sit indoors to cool off. Was able to take a pic of Can's mint e30 m3, as well as a super nice daytona e36 m3.

Last weekend, i took a day trip to the small group of islands off the coast of Istanbul, called the Prince's Islands. Takes an hour by ferry boat to reach the last island, alot of time to take pics.

                  Leaving the dock

Leaving the European side of Istanbul behind us.

Seagulls circled the boat the whole way, kind of funny.

Coming up to the first island

Took a rest on the last island and had some tea on this terrace restaraunt

And lastly, a few pics of a really nice BMW dealer here. There were asses though and said photography was prohibited. I even said i was an american journalist/photographer and asked to speak to the manager, but still no luck. Bitches.

Have a fun and safe 4th of July everyone!!

Why is it that every "i" in your posts has no dot?

Lol, it's the Turkish keyboards, they have a few extra letters. In Turkish, the letter "i" makes a different sound if it has a dot over it, but the one without the dot is placed in the same location as our keyboards so im used to using it. To lazy to find the key with the dot.

Those guys doing the metal fab by hand are true craftsmen and Istanbul is somewhere I've always wanted to visit.

                                I'm jealous of your exploits.
