What in the world...how do i fix this R3v?

My freakin back-up lights are on all the time? before they didn't even work when reversing, now they are on all the time...i took the bulbs out because lastnight i confused the shit outta people and scared some chick becuase she thought i was going to drive backwards into her shitbox. :hitler:

If it's manual maybe take the shift boot out and check if anything funky is going on from there, maybe something got jammed in there making it think it's in reverse?

^^ check that wire out. its fairly easy to check

unless the car was molested, its unlikely a wiring issue under the boot. More than likely its a malfunctioning reverse switch on the tranny. Its on the right side, accessable from under the car.

car was painted 3 years ago...could that be an issue too(stripped the car when painting it) ? my foglights dont work after i put new bulbs in it.

pull or the shift boot and trace the wire that goes into the trans.

didn't have time since i wash rushing to go meet up with friends.....i will trace the wire tomorrow morning and see, altough i took the boot off and found a ziptie in there LOL...

Check the wire that runs near shift lever under the shift boot for breaks. I have seen them get pinched by the shift lever and short against each other.

just checked it...damn so much stress was on the end of the wires, where they go to the plug..looks like it's actually not hooked up in there anymore...well can i pull on the wires to clear more space? because it was touight like a toiiigaaar

Ok Update:

This problem is worse now, i blew 3 Fuses lastnight! so i traced the wire and found the plug, un hooked it and so far so good. it's either what digital cowboy said or i have a bad switch!

But now take this one, My foglights quite working Lol, no it's not the bulbs nor the fuses, i don't even see them light up in the cluster, Also my heated seats never worked since i bought the car, what is the fuse number? or they just have a relay? i looked and searched everywhere but couldn't find anything!
