do they apply the tax to the final price of the car (minus incentives and rebates) or the price before incentives and rebates? the sales guy said they calculate the tax with the before price. i think it should be the final price of the car. :???:

Depends on the state I am sure. In CA it is applied to the seling price of the car, not the MSRP.
