My 325is Turbo vs Subaru WRX Turbo (the new one) jap Specs

While I was in the corner getting in the main road, of corse in the city, a nice new WRX passed in front of me I accelerated quikly to catch him, we arrived at the stop light some seconds and then I was in front of him(passing from the right line) he quikly moved behind me, then I slowed my bimmer since a damm truck was in front of me turning...

and when I was almost alone in a big curve,I punched 1st turned the boost controller to 8 PSI or so...and soonely I got a nice power, what I had behind me? the WRX making me some race, so I said this is our test my lovely bimmer(yes, I talked with car... ) then sifted to 2th gear and the WRX still waas behind me, of corse runing as hell, then sifted 3th, the WRX couldn't catch me or get closer to me...so I oficially beated a WRX... hahhaha, I can/t imagine what passed in his head when he saw he couldn/t pass me or at least catch in a old , low profile BMW 325is..... Soooooo....take that Ricer!!!!

I don't know if try tu run the oficially 1/4 mile this saturday, the problem is that at 8PSI is still pinging, yes pinging means ping or knock or pre detonation,.... until resolve that problem...

PD>yes yes yes, my inglesh sucks...so a little advise for ya, if you are going to critic me, plz step away(from how I write)...thank you! :D

    Diego,
You better lay off the throttle until you get more fuel to that puppy!!!!!! You are going to kill the headgasket or crack a piston. What size injectors and fuel pressure are you running?

1985 euro 535i turbo 16psi and NO detonation! >>>36lb injectors and 60psi fuel pressure

Easy on the ricer talk there....not all WRX drivers are ricers! :D Good kill, I think the stock WRX is like low 14's in the quarter. That car obviously has the same problem as mine, terrible top end. I can hang even with a Z06 until about 90, after that I fall flat on my face (compared to the V8).

yes yes, I'm excited, don't take my comment seriously, about the ricers, yes not all are ...

TCD, the detonation or pinging is a bit, and yes I don't have to run my car at those PSIs(second stage, wit boost controller) and keep in that way...it just was a shortly race like 5 seconds, and yes I know just in less than 5 sec i can blow up my engine...btw I'm runing 97 octanes....I won't do that again until fix my pinging with my smt6 tuning the advance and soonely will be changing my IC with a bigger one in the front....just i couldn't let pass this oportunity to race with a WRX....the other day was a Porsche carrera4, nice things are happen me...mmm wonder wich will be the next victim....a EVOV VI or VII ??? we will see..... or maybe a blow engine of my bimmer crap...

ohh, BTW...I'm using stock injectors with a Vortech FMU, wich raises the press almost twice of the stock one... seeing my ARF meter I'm runing rich at full rpm , full boost and full gas pedal...

yes yes, our craps of 4-5K $$ with a nice turbo installed can beat cars with factory turbo installed from over 25K$$....in my opinion worth the effort...anyway that's a off topic opinion... :P

I'm feeding my crap...my AFR Autometer is showing me rich in all the way...before the Vortech FMU my car was pinging in third gear with 4 PSI stock injectors showing me lean condition...I think it's not at all the a fuel delivery problem...

You are not rich! The gauge is nearly useless. The car must be tuned with a wide band O2 sensor or exhaust gas analyzer on a dyno. You should install some 24 or 30lb injectors right away. I'll be starting with 30lbers in my e30. The stock injectors are only 14lbers.

Ok I will put my Jeep (storage) 21Lb/B wit the vortech, once I can tune the plus width of the injectors since the idle will be horrible again( I did this before to test) but....mmm don/t have the link in this pc, once I get the link I will post it here, anyways that shows or simulates any injector or model showed in that page what flow rate can run by selecting the press that will work with it...

Yes, I was tainted to buy a s50 like tyours, the US spec with ecu and all the wire for 2K$, but I decided not go that route just cuz I didn't want to spend all that money in my bimmer, for sure my dad could kill me for do that... :)
MMm...pyrometer? any pic from it, how it works!???
