Size of tires for Alpina Kopi's?

I plan on buying some Alpina Kopi's for my 92' 318iC soon, what size tire should I go for with little or preferably no rubbing. What is a decent type of tire as well, decent tire but inexpensive. They are 7.5x17 et 20. Haven't dropped it yet.

Use this to compare the different options for sizing and the plus and minuses of each option.

Most people run 215/40-17s on the Kopi's, as thats the closest-to-stock 17" size.

Thx, that is what I was looking for 8)
Now I just need to find a decent tire that isn't $300 a piece.

Try Yokohama ES100's or Parada 2's. Maybe a Kumho 712 if you want a cheap, low performance, low cost tire.

ES100's own, and they're cheap as hell, too. I highly recommend picking up a set.

I don't agree that Kumho 712 is low performance, I have it on my 325 and on my 911, had both cars on the track (in we t and dry), have to say that I like the Kumhos more than Pirelli P-Zeros, Parada Spec 2s and Pirelli P7000 Super Sports (had all of those on the track before I bought Kumho 712). Kumhos rule in the wet and are very-very good in dry conditions

Bah, that's crap. 712's are junk. I had them on my car and it was an absolute squirrel(even with the stock motor). ES100's are hte way for cheap performance tires.

I am judging strictly by the track performance, there are different Kumho models out there, this is the 712 Supra

there is also less performance oriented 711 model

                      also, Kumho Supra 712 (215/40/17) is $84 while ES100 is $100
I haven't had the ES100 ont he track, so I can't say anything...

here are some pics of my car from the race tracks:

Amazing cars vlad, I especially like the e30.

I have es 100's and yes they are a great cheap performance tire, but they didnt last as long as I thought they would :(

Wow, have fun with that M3 for me will you? To anyone in the market for tires: do not buy the kumho 711's, they wore very fast and were complete crap anyway.
