    oil pan replacement???

    what would be the options for replacing an oil pan on an e30m50? can you drop the steering rack or do you have to pull the motor and stuff?

    Drop sub frame--drop trans--suspend motor in bay--pray you never have to indure this again.

        thats way to much work got my pan off in 20 min i just loosened my motor mounts lifted the engine up an inch or two took off the sump and it slid out. way easier than i thought i read a few post and it seemed like this was goinig to be a tuff thing to do.
