E30M3. It has run the quartermile at 9.33 sec as best. The car has a new owner now, that have painted the car red (was silver before). The reason it was sold, was because the old M3 owner have started on a Z3 coupe project. The Z3 coupe will be fitted with a 1000hp 4 cyl M3 motor (S14), and is expected to do low 8- high 7 on the strip.

They arent really S14's as such, they are both M10 bottom ends (2L) with the twin cam S14 head.

id like to see what the bloke with the 500hp E30 from VM performance would run on the strip, i have never seen any car accellerate like that (the needle just jumps like 60km/h each time he changes gear when it comes on boost).
