What is the best option?

I just wrecked my 1994 325ic. Busted the front right corner, and possibly bent the car's frame. But the majority of the car and it's parts are intact.

A real bummer all around, the body shop said that repair would be more than I originally paid for the car.

So in your expert opinions what would be the best option?

Should I try to sell as is, part it out, or just send it to the junkyard?

Now I want the most money I can get out of it, but I don't want it sitting around forever.

Here is the pictures of the damage.

You can see I mashed in the front corner pretty good, and the roll bars popped.

The Body Shop's major concern was that the frame could have been warped.

But as you can see the majority of the car is untouched, by the crash.

if the roll bars blew so did the seat belts.... eh, i would part it out. it looks like its about 3500$-4k worth of damage, if you fix it right. you could probably cut some corners and shave some off of that but not much.

How long ago did you buy the car? I think that damage exceeds the "fair market" value of the car by several times no offense. What's your insurance coverage?

I bought it about a year or so ago. I just got liability so insurance paid for the other guy's car. I have to pay in full if I want to repair it.

But from what you guys are telling me it sounds like I should just part it out and get a another car.
