Couple shots from our Bavarian trip.

So, the wife and I were fortunate to spend a couple weeks in Germany on holiday. Here are some pictures of the trip. It was a wonderful trip, but the automotive gods did not favor me.

First stop on our trip from Frankfurt to Munich.

    Munich.

    Two bummers....

One: The ring was closed for a music festival. Jay-Z was there though...

Two: when you rent a BMW online, sometimes they give you an audi.

Wow, That is my dream trip, Hopefully after my senior year of highschool i'll be able to go on a trip like this. How much was it to rent a car? In germany you need to be 21 to rent a car correct?
Your signature picture has been removed since it contained the Photobucket "upgrade your account" image.

Renting a car + expensive gas isnt good for a just out of highschool kid, especially if you planned on paying your way for the trip

We did. My wife has family in Munchen, with whom we stayed for a week of the trip. What a wonderful country.

I think the total cost of the car was ~$300 USD including diesel for 864km. I tried to get my wife to let me rent a 911, but the mileage charges would have been high as they limit the Porsche to 200km per day. I am not sure of the age requirement, but I am 25.

I traveled Europe for ~5 months after highschool (alone) and did not rent any cars, but had a great time. Public transportation in western Europe is outstanding.
