I have a chance to strip whatever I want from a 94 325 that was wrecked. The engine/trans are still good, no diff, no seats, etc. I can either just haul the whole thing away or pull anything I want and then have the guy who owns it now haul it away when I'm done. I'd rather not deal with another junked car at my dad's place (I rent an apartment and have no room) and was wondering if I did decide to just take an evening or two and strip the car down, what all should I take?
I know engine, trans, wiring harness, steering rack if it's good, anything to do with power steering too just because it's there. I'll be taking that stuff for sure. My car also needs a muffler so I'll likely cut off whatever it has on it and use that since I'm just going to give the guy $300 for the whole thing or whatever I want to take off it. Would the entire exhaust fit on my car with a little cutting and welding? I have an 84 318i.
Sorry for the rambly post, feel free to move this if it's not in the right section....
