    Re-upholstering

    time is a factor i need it done as cheap as possible, vynil or cloth, iss this something i can do myself with no prior expeience?

    suggestions anyone had theirs done at reasonable prices? i understand the price of the material just dont have that much money.

    I've been in the same spot and yes, you can definately do it yourself. You have a few choices.

    1. Creative Options (Kevin) www.seatkit.com - Super high quality skins that fit over the existing seat interior.

    2. Leatherseats.com - Similar setup with replacement skins, I found them to be a little more expensive.

    3. Junkyard diving

    It's not that big of a job and there are a few how-tos on the forum. You'll need the skins, some hog ring pliers, standard sockets and a couple of screwdrivers.



    If you can dig up a seat of seats at the junkyard that aren't ripped or torn (or if yours is not ripped or torn) you can also try leatherique. There are a few how-tos on the website as well as via google that explain the process. IF you have leather this is your cheapest option.

    Otherwise, try searching the forums and ebay to see what pops up for sale. There is always a deal.

      right i mean i can get them leather done reupholstered for 1100 but my car needs more important things just i dont have space for the seats so i need them in car asap and sell other ones, ill give all those a try thx for the input. do you think id be better off going cloth?
