    All done, sort of. Jake, there are 16 characters in the VIN you mentioned, you must be missing one somewhere. It should be 17 long. 87 325iS, YGM.

            YGM for the E30, carfax doesnt go back any further than '81 with a 17 digit VIN. Sorry :(

                            I wanted to do it when i bought it, but I had already paid a month account and it ran out before I found my car. I was too cheap to get another one. But I carfaxed my old Thunderbird, which was totalled, and it came up clean. So I dont put that much stock in the report.

                                    My carfax is hilarious. Last I checked the car had 4-5 different owners, despite the fact that it's never left this garage since new. Plus there was some sort of minor collision in 1992, which never happened.
