    Title for adandoned car?

    Hey I know it will vary from state to state but I have a e30 that was abandoned for years and now is in my possession, I am in MA, does anyone know how to go about getting a title.

    The inspection sticker is 2006 and I ran a car-fax, nothing to exciting.

          I had a car like that here in California. I called a lien company and filed a lien on it on my behalf. Basically the car had to sit still for 30days on my property while I charged $25 a day storage on it. They sent out notices to the previous owner and filed with the DMV. After 30 days, no one stepped up to claim the car and I received lien sale papers for it which made it legal for me to sell it or register the car as my own.
