    oh hai!

    Hey guys!

I just wanted to introduce myself to the forum!

My name is Travis, I'm 16 and I'm a BMW enthusiast. However, I drive a 2010 Honda Civic EX coupe. My ideal 1st car would have been an E46, but my dad didn't want to worry about having to fix anything, so he bought a Honda. I'm currently saving to buy an E30 to fix up. I want a car to be passionate about! FWD ftl!

Anyways, I've already learned a lot from the forum and I'm sure I'll learn more!

Welcome. An E30 is a great car to learn good driving fundamentals(both car control and responsible driving) as well as a great car to learn how to properly maintain an automobile on.

An E30 can do everything an E46 can do on public roads, except with a little more character and driving pleasure.

If you start tearing the e30 apart you'll be very happy about the having the civic. New civics would make very nice economical daily. Perhaps a bit nice for a 16 year old though, being 20 I've liked having "cheaper" cars I don't have to worry about as much.

you know say bmw's are a love of "labor, and a labor of love," and I tend to agree, if you do, I'm sure all your enthusiasm will be well housed.

Yeah, civics are great DDs. But yeah, I'm always worried about people dinging my doors or something since its new.
