    Urgent engine chip question.

ok long story short. trust me there is a good reason for this.

tank half-full of 87. ecu with chip for 91 octane. can a drive it and put 91 in it, and itll be ok with half and half? or should i go get some octane booster? idk if that stuff even works?

    thanks for any helpful input

nope, timing belt will immediately snap.

but in all seriousness I think you would be ok as long as you keep adding 91 as the overall level goes down. I'd wait for input from someone with more experience than myself, though.

it's gonna ping like a motherfucker. put the stock software back in it until you finish the tank of 87

so take the chip out of the bad ECU and put it in the good ECU

Just don't use a lot of the loud pedal until you get the right fuel in the tank.

It will be fine to just cruise around lightly.
