Just don't lose the Craftsman stuff that you borrow. If it breaks go get a free replacement and you will be good until you get your own collection going.

Oh I know, it's just I'd rather have my own set to do whatever the hell I want with. Besides most of his is imperial anyhow.

I have Wiha electronic screwdrivers. They are really good. I also buy Bondhus allen keys because Snapon/Mac/etc are rebadged Bondhus.

Snap-On allen sets? You mean the foldy things? If those are Bondhus, do that...but key sets blow. Sockets are the answer.

no, just the4 stuff you MUST have quality on, Cornhole is way cheaper than Snap-On (which is what all of my crap is, basically)

You talking about these? http://www.bondhus.com/products/t-handles/body21.htm or the normal L shape ones?

So Cornwell is Snapon just cheaper? I definitely dont want to buy Snap On for my first tools.. and I probably wont later in life.

I guess my budget is about $400, and that is for a ratchet set, allen wrenches, screwdrivers, nutdrivers, pliers, and a nice torque wrench. I figure Ill use my Dad's wrenches, kind of hard to break those.

simple hand tools stuff like that should be readily available for warrenty exchange if you brake them and the pricing is not bad for a HS student on a budget.
those are great but honestly, I like craftsman. There durable and have a life time warranty.

Yes I agree Craftsmen are nice, but they seem to be sub standard and survive on their warranty. Supposedbly when people order their 140 piece sets they have to send 10% of the pieces in for new ones because the chrome has problems.

I don't mind them, it's just I want something I can count on, not something I expect to eventually have to be replaced. People buy Hazet without a warranty, because the warranty never needs to be claimed....

Been reading into Bondhus. They are extremely competitively priced, and seem to be of great quality. They are also a very handsome looking tool.

Anyways anybody care to give their oppinion of the best three driver companies. I dont want to hear SNap On or any similarly priced equivalent. Im talking Wiha, Wera, Bondhuss, PB Swiss, that stuff.
