Given the way the PO treated the interior I'd be more concerned with basic maintenance like timing belt (but if you're dropping in a M50 I guess it doesn't matter) and fluids instead blacking out tail lights...but that's just me. Cool color, have fun with the project.

I could care less about that engine. though the timing belt was changed less then a year ago:) anyone wanna buy the stock m20 from me??? Its gonna be for sale in a week and a half!!

coming soon my 90 325i full built m50 ported and polished head,5 angle valve job, 1.5 bar of boost, tuned on mega squirt, with a 4 inch exhaust no cat, andzf e36 trans.
Im thinkin 500 horse sounds about right!!!
