    Keeping Maint Records for DIY

I was wondering what you DIY guys do about keeping tidy looking records. I've been doing a lot of work recently and don't have much to show except invoices from Turner, RMeuro or receipts from PepBoys (many of which I've already lost in returns etc). I'm keeping a log in my Bentley but that seems very bush-league. Any tips to do this more 'professionally' or presentably?

    Thanks,

    -Mike

you could scan all receipts and keep them in a file, I have all of mine in my mechanics tool box, @ 2 inches thick. I plan to put them in a book someday, but for the last 7 years, they have been residing in that drawer. Keep up with the bently, or make your own build book. Just make sure you organize it with the receipts facing the job you did page by page. That should be enough.
