    What's Going on with my E30 ?

    that day i wanted to start my car , the car wont start i tried and tried but the car also wont start , so i changed the fuel pump

    after changing this , i tried to starts the car , the car also wont start but the car starts , with a black cloud of smoke , and the engine is nnot starting , well if i take my leg from the gas the engine stops so i waited for 5 minutes and the car is on , @ rpm 2 the car works good and the black cloud went out

    Today , i tried to start the car @ morning but the car also started with black cloud of smoke , and the engineworks stupid ... but after 2 mnutes it was goood ... while i was driving the car the car starts to make sounds like a gun lool and i felt it want to shut down , but also it works good and that thing happend with me many times on the road !! whats going on with my car Guys ??

    year and model would help.

    Sounds like the cold start injector is stuck open (this is assumeing you have 325E model)

    Or your fuel pressure regulator has gone bad, and is pouring lots of raw fuel directly into the intake.

      year and model would help.

      Sounds like the cold start injector is stuck open (this is assumeing you have 325E model)

          Like it was said above, check the FPR. It could also be old technology vs. cold weather, however it shouldn't be that cold in Lebanon right now, I just got back from Syria and it wasn't cold for me!

            yeah it is the summer here but i think problem is from this thing or what ?

              You could pull the plugs and check them but from the description of your problem, they are probably going to look fouled out anyways. Try changing the wires along with the plugs if you do swap them out.
