Weird Fan Issue

So... my car has been running pretty hot lately (a lil over half) and this isnt regular. It usually runs hot wen sitting in one spot & cools down when driving. I just changed my fan clutch because i thought this was the problem. Im not upset becuz i guess i needed a new one anyway. The weird problem is.. when the engine gets a bit hot, my fan sometimes spins VERY SLOW and then stops completely... I took my fan shroud out a few months ago.. could this be the problem?

put the shroud back in, it helps with cooling

i think this goes in the "my fan is spinning slowly and stops" thread there might be a sticky ....and put the shroud back in, racecars have no shroud cuz they are always moving, bad fuhraze move.
