    Anyone tow with their E30??

Just curious if anyone here has any experience with towing with an E30 325is. I'm looking to tow a small open kart trailer.

    Any tow specs from BMW?

Also, are does anyone have any recommendations for a hitch setup for the E30?

    Thanks.

I believe there was a factory tow package offered for e30s from the dealer.

The car I got my bumpers came with it, and it was a bitch removing bcus all the nuts were rusted and I had to end up grinding the bolts off.

I have seen an e30 cab at a track day towing two motorcycles. I talked to the guy and he had been doing it for years no problem.

I tow any number of things with my '89 325i. Recently had to tow some stuff to help a friend move, never had a problem - the car came with the towbar when I bought it.

we sell one designed for the E30 M3, may work with other applications. Totally hidden when not in use.

designed to tow a small 2 wheel trailer with spare set of wheels/tires and a large toolbox. One customer has used it to tow from Mass. all the way to Mt. Tremblant Canada... at 85mph the whole way. (Not reccomended)

Keep attention with the CC, my first E30 (320i) had a towhook and the PO had made a big mistake with the connections
