bought some little shings off him a year or so ago, seems like a real nice guy, even sent me a couple little freebies. Maybe a shipping prob or a family emergency, he is fairly active on the forumn I am sure there is a good excuse.

It was a bunch of stuff, so I broke it down into 3 boxes and 2 of them made to me safely and 1 is sitting at customs waiting to be cleared and released. It's been almost 2 weeks! I received the first two packages via fedex, interestingly enough my friend didn't send them through fedex in the UK. I signed for them and bam! good to go. The next day, I get a call from fedex asking me to call back to provide some information. I call, and I submit every bit of information I have. I was told I'd receive a call back after everything was processed. I get the call back and I am told that I have to wait for clearance, so im thinking they gave me a call back after it was in the fedex system, but the gov't has to go through theirs?? Some time goes by and I don't hear back via email or phone, so I call this morning and I am told that the manifest of the package is incorrect and that each item needs to be insured individually and that the package was insured as a whole which was apparently a no go. I thought that this was taken care of with my initial phone call! Though, there is light at the end of this tunnel because she said that that doesn't necassarily mean it wont clear customs, but she would have to have someone call me back to give me specific details about my package. That light is fading rapidly because I didn't receive the callback. Is it going to be sent back to England? What the hell is customs doing for a week with a package full of car parts and 'double deckers'? Can someone; if they are in the industry, please shed some light on this? Sorry for the long winded post, it's just getting at me right now! I've never had issues like this with international shipping....and what is truly perplexing is that I received the first two packages with no problems and the manifests are just as improper as what the people were telling me on the phone.
Maybe this has something to do with it? From the beginning of july.
