89 325is... timing belt and brakes help!!!

Hey guys, i live in Downtown Phoenix AZ, would anyone in the E30 community here be wiling to come out and help me get my timing belt put in and do some brakes... i could do a weekend sometime.. i would be wiling to supply food and drinks (lots of drinks of your choosing)... I am really excited about this car, but i don't just want to mess with stuff i don't know yet... so you would be helping/teaching me for the future...

    thanks

pm me if you can... thanks a lot in advance...

Just a heads up, the timing belt job will take 4 hours at least, and that's movin pretty quick I'd say (I know some people will disagree with me). Depending on what you need when you say "brakes" then it could be simple to extremely simple.

Just go for it, you can't really mess it up if you take your time and are careful. My first one took me about 3 hours start to finish.

It's not rocket science really..... Get a Bentley manual, make sure you have the proper tools.... Remove the hood (for god sake remove the hood) and be thorough.... Keep track of everything (don't be a messy fool) and make sure you go through the Bentley first and know what you're getting yourself into..... It's not that hard, just time consuming.... and make sure the new belt goes on right....

Both jobs are pretty easy.. Just take your time and be methodical.
If you don't have a bentley manual your best bet would be to look up guides on this forum or pelican parts.
That said it's always easier working with someone else, especially if they've done it before, so hopefully someone local to you comes through.
