First off there is a suspension section that has tons of info on installing. Second if you don't have basic welding and fabing skills pay someone to do it. Last thing you want is a shitty suspension job.
I think the suspension is a super easy thing to do. Remember to compress your springs before you remove the top hat. That is how you will get hurt badly.
GL and remember to search the forum before you post. Engine, suspension and wheels are covered SO much. Search link is in the black headliner above thread title.~ Puch Cafe. ~ Do business? feedback ~ Check out my leather company ~

Look at his title...it says noobie. So back the fuck off, it is annoying how people on here cannot take two seconds to find a link or teach them how to use a simple search option.
Granted from my reply to him I think it is wiser to search, learn then ask something you don't quite get.~ Puch Cafe. ~ Do business? feedback ~ Check out my leather company ~

It says noobie because of his post count, but in this day n age people should understand how a message board works... Including the search feature! :finger:Comment

Some don't, so the time it takes you to be a dick and think of your moronic punch line you could have helped. Instead of making fun of him.~ Puch Cafe. ~ Do business? feedback ~ Check out my leather company ~

true, post count does on no way reflect actual E30 noobism.
However, to the OP, you really do need to read through some suspension install threads before posting a super general question like that. there is a DIY thread that tells you step by step WITH pictures how to do a full coilover fab and install.Comment

I was going to post that one, perfect thread. But Top Gear is better than posting it. hahaI'll be a helpful and contributing member and post this here: http://www.r3vlimited.com/board/show...ight=coilovers
FYI OP
You don't have to shorten your housings. That is for getting even lower, it is MUCH more fabbing and can cause issues if welded or measured wrong.~ Puch Cafe. ~ Do business? feedback ~ Check out my leather company ~
