where the heck does this connect to?

So i'm putting my car back together and need some help with a vacuum line

i'm pretty sure this thing has something to do with my idle air valve, but i can't find where it's supposed to connect to... i don't remember taking this off either...



this is one the throttle body just after the plate.

What engine is that? M20? Some more information on your car will help others to answer your question. If it's an M20 it looks like it connects to your charcoal canister

I think that's for the canister purge.
