    First BMW E30

Hello everyone I just got my first BMW E30 last week. She is a Green 1993 325i Cabrio. I bought her from Seattle, Washington and had her transported to Fresno, Cali. I have always been a fan of the BMW E30's but never thought I'd own one. I fell in love with E30's when my cousin first got his 89 325i and that was about 3 years ago. Since then I've been looking everywhere for the right one and now I finally got one. I've never came across a community/group of people that have so much respect and knowledge for something (Real enthusiasts). Now I am officially an E30 owner and have lots to learn and lots to do.

    Went from a 2005 300C Hemi to a 1993 BMW 325i Cabrio! Total opposites!

What would you recommend? Which springs and shocks? Or coilovers?

Well money is important but I am willing to spend money to make it right. I dont like half ass crap. So pretty much whatever it takes to make the car right. Any recommendations?

Coilovers would be my choice but they cost a but more. Again, it depends on what your goal is. If you want to be "slammed" then coilovers are a must but if you just want to settle down a bit, lowering springs will be just fine. Nice car and welcome aboard!

My vert, see signature, has bilstein shocks and HR sport springs w/ 15mm spring hats up front. Cheap enough for a moderate budget.

Welcome! I love that color. Invest in a strut brace and x-brace, they are worth their weight in gold on convertibles and will make you fall in love with it all over again.

That's what Im probably going to do at first and then change to coils. I did some research and really couldn't find any coils made specifically for verts. I'm sure the coupe ones will fit correct?
