E30 or E36?

K, well the black e36 is pretty nice. Everything works. only problem is that head gasket and I know those heads are pretty pricey. I wan't to repair the engine asap so I can sell it and the 5speed manual trans to help with the cost of things. What's the most you think I can squeeze out of this engine?
