    Source for engine parts?

I've noticed a lot of small shops are very in tune with the enthusiasts and the forums around here. I need to ask a small favor to someone who may have better access than me.

My RX7 needs a rebuild and I cannot get the parts through my work and none of our suppliers seem to want to help me find them. I know there are a lot of suppliers and manufacturers who will not sell straight to a consumer such as myself, only to shops and commercial accounts.

What I need is for someone to let me know that they can get what I need (who is willing to ship parts to me, on my dime of course) and what kind of money I would be looking at. I can go to the dealership, but I really REALLY don't feel like giving Infiniti anymore of my money, the pricing is ridiculous and I only get attitude across the counter and on the phone.

I have a VH45DE from an Infiniti Q45. It is pre-96 but its my 3rd-ish engine and I cannot remember if this is a 90-93 or a 94/95. If someone thinks they can help me get the parts for this then I will let them know exactly what I have once I get into the engine.

Parts I need first and foremost:

    Full bearing set (std)
    Oil pump
    Complete gasket set

I may need a piston ring set as well (std)

Brand doesn't really matter since I have used everything under the sun on past builds and the only problems I have ever had have been my own fault.

I don't know if this will get me the results I am looking for but it never hurt to try!

Yes you can, however, there are two rules to posting on ANY forum.

                          1. Be funny.

                          Or

                          2. Be informative.

If you are really feeling sprightly you can do both.
