That section of the forum just isn't as fun as the rest. I tried posting once in there about issues on my own country, but then it was all serious and =| and -_- and ~_~ in there and people started using words I didn't understand so I bounced.

As a avid P&R guy here, we are just trying to weed out the thin skinned. If you cant rough and tumble with the big boys, with out getting butt hurt that some one thinks differently then you do.........dont go in there. Just like if you dont like whats on the raido or tv, turn it off, dont whine to congress to make a law that some content should be banned.

Josh/staff dont get me wrong here, its your site and you can regulate as you see fit, and frankly the lack of over moderation over hurt feelings is part of what makes this site what it is. But in the end you guys make the rules and thats what needs to be lived by.

You guys were nice enough to give us our own section to play in and brow beat one another till be are black and blue and bloody, I was under the impression that was issue and giving us that section is fair waring to anyone not wanting to get into surprise P&R thread there by not getting ambushed.

It has gotten a little outta hand lately though I will give you guys that.

Lol I didn't mean to sound like I got butt-hurt, cuz that's impossible for me on the internet. I'm the juggernaut, bitch. I was serious about the part where pepole started using words I couldn't understand LOL. What I meant by my post was that I'm not up to date on things enough to participate in the conversations there, so I did everyone a favor and didn't. My post wasn't a bash on the P&R section, I like to observe there once and a while to get a different view on things, I just don't like to state my own view because often times I have my facts wrong since I just read something somewhere and go "o ok icic." I just don't have enough enthusiasm to go and read different sources to get the whole story, and I appreciate the people that do, and still have time to argue with other people about it. I think the P&R forum is great, people just need to understand that just because someone has a different view, no matter how different, don't deserve to get bashed for it. You should only be in the P&R forum if you have an open-mind and can tolerate many different views, otherwise there's no point for you to be in there because it's for discussion, and if you're not willing to see something from someone else's side then you have nothing to discuss.

I am on the verge of removing it, and no longer allowing any threads pertaining to such content on the site at all, if things don't change rapidly.

But r3v is my only source of political news. I wouldn't know what was happening in the world if it weren't for r3v...

Wait, if posting your car up on this public forum is an invitation to all sorts of opinions and critiques then why does that not also ring true for political and religious opinions within that subforum? If people are unable to handle the heat, then why do they feel the need to spout out their opinion on a subforum that the label pretty much guarantees controversy. People are berated every where else on this forum and it is hilarious, everyone joins in and has a good time against some sucker of the week who posted up their clapped out track car/DD, it is no different than in the politics and religion section. If people don't want their beliefs attacked then they should not be posting them in a fucking public forum.

I agree with this.

But I still think all of us (me included) could do it with a bit more tact/class.
