Should I Rip apart an I for things on my E?

Well i'm new here, but i read frequently, i hope i posted in the right place, but its not all specific tech.

BUT, i've got myself an 87 325es thats in GREAT condition. Or so i think, i'll put up pics today. Black, 5 speed, speedometer broke at 58k, not much wrong with it, cept for some driveline issues which im fixing now.

BUT i found a 325i at a local junk yard, and its got most of the parts left!

i'm a fan of the "I" front bumper, and i cant really find out if they fit 100% correctly. And also is it a 2 piece? I haven't been around the part, or BMW's too much.

Also, the "I" head. Guy says i can snatch all the parts i want off the head and some electronics on it too for $150, been reading up on putting the "I" head on the "E" motor lately, and it seems like a fun project, as i'd wanna boost it anyway

Also it has black door panels, i wanna get those, but it'll be gone before i want em i think

    SO, $150 For "I" head
$150 for front and rear bumpers, or i think each, i forget what he said
    $20 for each door panel

so a good $320-$470 dollars spent for it, yeah?

And the guy welded this on

This came with the car, was silver, but painted it flat black

Just painted this flat black too, this came with the fender

This came with it too. Brake booster, new fuel pump, stock speakers (were just in trunk), old air filter and some belt.

But then i got these for $80

AND this is sitting around doing nothing, should i get the side skirts? Lol, 325esx?

I might cut the front and rears off so i can put it on mine, gotta find me a little dremmel to do it tho, or maybe something bigger, the guy is kinda weird tho, he's got a shop that he's not using, i told him i'd pay him to let me do somet side jobs while he's there, said yeah, but when i came back he said no, so eff it.

and these are going for $40 each

    And these for $300

I'm pretty sure that 150 for all of the head stuff is a good deal, especially if you want boost I'd definitely do that.

150 for both bumpers would be a good deal. (I assume this is a late model "i" with the plastic bumpers. search about bumper conversions, many people have done it and the front bolts up if you have the right piecies, but the rear will take some trimming and modification due to the slightly different rear fender) Plastic bumper swaps are awesome though, and there are some write ups.

Yeah, i've been searching for the last few days but i can't seem to find an exact how to or if its difficult

So snatch the head before its gone? Car doesn't look in bad condition, i'll go actually take pics of the car, and mine as well and double check stuff

I would take all of the above, spare parts can be put too good use!

well i'm on a semi budget 2.7i Build

I was thinking of just getting the parts, cleaning em, and slapping them on. I'm pretty impatient and i've already started sourcing turbo parts. I've been reading about the dropped compression already, and im thinking if i do all the work, am i gonna have to deal with it till i figure out all my turbo stuff.

OR, should i get the parts i want, get them machined, get the whole turbo setup and do all at once? I guess in that time i can work on the suspension. Just got the H&R cup kit yesterday and doin that when i get some free time

well i found a blue "is" rear bumper for 50 bucks. Its hard finding parts in hawaii, I mostly stop at random places seeing if they have parts, lol.

I would be worried about the head being cracked or having bent valves since it is in a junkyard. Unless they pulled it and checked it. If so, do it! $150 is a good price.

Well I haven't had the chance to go back for more pics. Or even for mine. I've been running around trying to find a spring compressor to do my cup kit. But no avail. And I don't wanna buy a new one just for one use. Other than that, I've been busy with work. Everybody knows sales is bad in the automotive industry. So I'm at work like 9-7 most the time tryin to get some money.

With that said, today is pay day. So imma pick up the blue rear bumper and work on that. Then I'll try an get to the junk yard again to take some pics or even take some stuff from the car. Especially if the door panels are still there.

Another note. I've read both that you CAN do the front and rear suspension without a spring compressor. No?

Well the guy says he's got a complete 2.5 for $400, which would be okay i guess, and he said he'd let me install it there

or should i just rip the head of the other "I" he has on there and do a slow build?

                        i want them sideskirts too
