    Do I have to put 91 octane in my car just because i have a chip in it?

    I know with a Conforti chip you have to, not sure about others.

      Most chips generally improve performance by advancing ignition points, so yes, unless you want to ping your motor to death, you'll want to run at least 91, preferably 93.

      My tweaked autothority chip tends to ping under hard usage even on 93, so I'll run 94 anytime I do track days and such.
