UPS package delayed....due to train derailment?

I was expecting a package today. Has anyone had a package delayed due to train derailment. I thought i would have seen it or heard it in news? I just want my package but if it was truly a derailment, i'm sure it wouldn't be scheduled for delivery tomorrow.....

A lot of UPS trailers are actually shipped by rail instead of cross country trucks..It doesn't mean the actual UPS trailer was on a derailed train...It could be that some other train derailed and shut down the tracks...
          Whatcha getting?...lol

ups has moved to a new more open tracking system. instead of the old "delayed in shipment" that they used to say now they give you the actual reason. +1 on ups' part

I'm a UPS driver and I hear our volume doesn't come in occasionally and they say trains derailed, but none of us ever know what that really means.

today at the woodland port a train going north had oak harbor freight trucks on it, UPS, and Yellow trucking trailers.

                  So maybe its true?

Happens often. Doesn't mean 15 cars came off the track spilling livestock and hobos all over the Midwest, but the tracks do kink up when they get too hot. I think they try to creep through at those spots trying to keep everything on the track and that will cause hold ups.

like ppl said before, its possible tracks are down, and UPS box is fine
