    Inside of a shift knob

    Do any of you guys have any pictures of the inside of a shift knob?

      Well my friend wants me to make him a shift knob but I didn't know what the inside looks like. So I can't design it yet...I don't personally have an e30 haha :(

                  when you take apart the shift knob, there is a plastic cylindrical piece inside that slides on to the stick you can remove it from a crapped shift knob and build around it, thats what i did when I made a shift knob out of a track-ball ball.
