Does anyone have experience with spax shocks? My dad used to have a set on his e21 like 25 years ago. They were really good but didn't last. He's looking at the adjustable ones they currently sell. Anyone know anything about these? Could anyone recommend a good retailer for them?

I wouldn't trust them. I have heard terrible things about there springs and would imagine there shocks are no better. -
I had a Spax setup on my old '86 Jetta (circa 1996). The ride was a little rough and the shocks went on my after a little over a year. I learned early on to spend the money right the first time. If you want and adjustable shock, go with Koni.Comment
