So I went to hollands today in billrica Mass and there was one e30 there. an alpine 87 325is. had some really good condition hella h4s on that i got for 20 bucks. also had what appeared to be h1 highs....but some dickhead decided to break them..
Got back to the garage cleaned up the lights alittle and then dropped the pan on my m42 to change the lower gasket and re tourqe all the upper pan bolts. To my surpise, my pan had no plastic or metal what so ever in it. It was really clean actually. And I had all my upper pan bolts.

I slept till 9:30 then spent the morning with my woman and then made lunch(breaded fish) Then went to my garage and put the DD in the air to check a clunk. Found it and then I surfed the net for front sway links and bushings. Bought them and awaiting them.

Then I pooped and ate some chicken and biscuits for dinner and watched Family Guy. r3v to end the night.

On the Porsche forum I frequent guys will often post what they did that day. Then, others will respond in the thread with their day, and most of the guys will seem genuinely interested in the other's activities.

Here on R3v, it gets you subtly ridiculed (at least thats what I pulled out of the 2nd post). I love variety :)

My day:

-Up around 7am, made a Jimmy Dean microwaveable breakfast biscuit
-Out the door around 8:30 for work where I pretend to be important and tell airplanes what to do and where to fly
-Back home around 5:30ish
-Took the dog out for a walk and a poop
-Installed all-red tailights on the iX (reverse lights be damned!)
-Took off the trunk roundel to install my new Motorsport Roundel sticker
-Tried stripping it down to get a good even surface to apply it on, found out I have no goof-off left to strip the adhesive (it LOOKED full sitting on my shelf ) AND the underlying surface is NOT even like I had hoped
-Tried boiling it, freezing it, mayonnaise (some crackpot on the internet somewhere said it removes the toughest of adhesives, bullshit!)
-Put off project till another day, now I get to drive around with my cool new taillights, but no Roundel on the trunk
-Now I'm reading R3v at 2:30 am because I don't have to work tomorrow
-I have to pee but I don't want to get off the couch. Can someone go for me?

I pooped. Then I ate, then I showered, then I pooped again.

Don't you hate those sneaker poops that seemed OK until WAY after the shower, but seem to just HAVE to come out just after you dry off?

Then, coffee and cigarettes, then more food, then R3V and emails and shit, then 2 1/2 hours on the phone arguing with Sprint...then, off to get new tires on Kims E30.

I popped in to Arbys: paid 70% of the price of the tiny little sammich for bacon on it, but it was delish, so WAY worth it IMO.

Half dozen calls waiting on the car, plus some random crap shopping...scrub brushes and such.

New tires meant fixing one of the inserts on her wheels...damn Italians cannot make a fucking wheel to save their lives. After MUCH hassle and about 2 miles of walking back and forth to the hardware store, go it all together...damn, her car drives like a zillion dollars, even if those retarded Bilsteins are too stiff for stock springs...the car still drives great.

Came home, pooped again (3X daily MINIMUM here) and the honey made chicken and squash stir fry. Marvelous as always, and she can't drive her car because she is in pain.

After dinner, back out to the garage, more work on E28. 2 hours straight of soldering, my back bitching up a storm, but that part is done now.

Little more R3V, shower (2X daily on that) brush teefers and go to bed.

Might need to scoop me up some ice cream.

6:45pm-Went for a drive in the vic, got some Mtn Dew, a Swisher sweet and some oil for my Dodge.
7:25pm- Found a Classic car meet and talked to a guy about his 1966 Dodge Charger with a 426HEMI and a 727torqueflite.
7:45pm-Drove home.
8:00pm-Worked on my Scale Crawler's whip-antenna.
9:00pm-Checked my facebook.
9:30pm Got on R3V.

and about to do the same tomorrow. my life is great Lol. Can't wait for the Fkin weekend.
