    Speedline 'turbines'... 'yard-find....

Went to the junkyard this morning to scope out some bumpers and I came across these.

After a little searching I found out that these are Renault Clio 19 16v Speedline Turbines. 4x100, 15x6.5", et36( I think), and 60.1 centerbore. They have no KBA # so I have no chance of running them in Germany, so they will soon be for sale.
For shits 'n giggles, I threw one one my Touring to get an idea of clearance. And yes, I used the jack-of-death because my Hydraulic took a crap yesterday.

And snapped a few quick pics of the Touring as of today. Found the rack too at the junkyard this morning, 20euro.

The Hella's have been on there for a little while....I may take them off till wintertime.

And this huge-ass spider I came across this morning in the Container/bus, almost the size of the palm of my hand.

i actually like those rims. i bet they'd sell well on VORTEX the fact that they are 15X6.5 prob wont help you here.

is the KBA# the same as TUV# ?

      Yeah, i'll try Vortex too.

Not exactly. A KBA# is a 5-digit number that tells you it has TUV paperwork. You take the number to a TUV-Prufer and he can pull up the paperwork.

hmmmm, it would seem that if they are a stock Renault wheel (made by Speedline for them) you could just get the KBA# from them and go from there.
does it have to be cast into the cap or wheels?

just a thought, i'm not in Germany so i could not help beyond that. nice find though.

funny, the first thing i thought of when i saw these was "these would look good on a VW".

          nice find nevertheless.

Those would actually look pretty cool all cleaned up. Were they ever available in the states?

To tell ya the truth, I wanted to make sure they fit first before anything else. I haven't looked them over that closely yet or even thought of contacting Speedline. If they were 7.5's or 8's, I would have already

Thanks...possibly swapping in an M20 this winter. No $$$ for the M50 this year(even though it's sitting in my cellar).
