My 2002 project

So here is where my project 2002 is now













its come along way since I started in January and still need to work on a interior and sound system

going to refurb these wheels to put on it for period correctness



in the meantime I have BBS from my e30



here is what the 2002 looked like when I got her

Laguna seca blue? Or is it a period correct color?

Its called Miami Blue and the roof is Snow White. I wasn't going period correct with the color its something my wife picked, its very close to the blue in the BMW Roundel.

Hmmm, the body kit looks odd. I like the color, and I think the weaves look great on it.

Thanks for the input. I still need to fab brackets to put on the smaller euro bumpers, so that might change the way the body kit looks after they are on. Right now I am in the process of dynamatting the interior. I picked up the skirts and rear valance for dirt cheap. I figured it would make it look different from every other 2002. The side skirts were blended in with the rear body panels but left off the front fenders, in case they ever need to get swapped.I also shaved the reflectors on the front fenders, removed the belt line trim and filled the clip holes. Deleted the sunroof.

The next step I need to get to the carpeting, headliner and getting my spare E30 sport seats recovered white with blue piping, sound system, etc....Work in progress!

Actually i need the weather stripping for the doors and trunk, any guesstimates on a price for them?

hmm. looks good, just the rear apron is shorter on the side, so it looks like its elongating the fender arch. nice color though!
