e30 Mtechnic Convert

Hi I found a e30 convert, and it said it has the full Mtechnic body kit with the Mtechnic interior. Now could this be just a 1990 e30 convert with the body and interior added as aftermarket?
Did a factory Mtechnic have a different Vin# to identify it etc. the car really looks great (red/auto) and is asking 6800. thanks for any input.

Yes could be just appearance package. Vin will resolve. E30rida and Cacktusjack few of the r3v member experts that can help.
