So they raced until someone made a mistake? LOL. How about I race the m3 or ford against my 5hp go kart and wait till the former blows the engine up and Ill win.

That's the way to do it sir.
If more people were as wise with their money as you are our country would not be in such deep shit right now.

in my opinion a mustang will always cost less to repair / rebuild than a bmw, mustang's are really reliable vehicle when you closely look at them and how many stup. guys run them and fail to go through them... and by the way does anyone know the real cost of a V8 4.0L from an M3? I've seen one changed on warranty and the engine only without labor or nothing and speaking just about a long block (block assembled + cylinder head assembled on it)
it's 32K Canadian!!!!! And about labour it's something like 16hrs job changing it...

I Mean come one you can get a 347 stroker race certified crate engine with 415hp passed on a dyno w/ almunium head, intake, msd distributor, blueprinted, all built by Ford Racing for a lil less than 10k canadian... and all you need to do is put on your 650cfm carb and a good set of headers on it...

But one thing you might not forget, the bmw still cost higher, but the finition and the interior is a better quality and have a better assembly.

I love bmws but sometimes they just seem a lil ridiculous overpriced for me...

Not that there aren't legitimate reasons to get the M3. I would like to hear them from an actual M3 owner (do we have any in the forum?).

I love the M3 as much as any fan Boy out here. I just consider it to be way over priced. If I had that much money to spare on a car I would buy two sick E30 M3s.

I love how many people type things like that without ever stating one reason as to why.

hahaha...... so fuckin true.^^^.... half of the people on here couldnt afford a down-payment for either car(let alone an opinion..LOL). i wouldnt be in the market for, or interested in either car.... they're both a waste of money. id take a new z07 corvette with that kinda cake.

Danny, you need to move this post to the front of the thread, delete all the other posts and lock the thread, because this is all that needs to be said.

Anyone been in a 2010 Ford? The new Mustang interior is quite impressive. If it wasn't up against the E90 M3's interior which is the nicest BMW has ever made, I'd say it's as nice as any 3 series has ever been. Things have changed over at the Ford Motor Company and they've definitely changed for the better. I recently had the opportunity to drive a friends 2010 Fusion for a day and after working at BMW for the last 6 years I can honestly say I'd take one over that pig of a 323i. I was shocked.

Back to the Mustang GT vs. M3 comparison, I'm not surprised honestly. Seeing as how the wild orange M3 GTS failed horribly on the Nurburgring (the Nissan GTR beat it by 20 seconds at half the price with double the features) I've lost a great deal of respect for BMW. The competition has finally caught up and are making these new overpriced BMW's look less and less appealing and more and more pathetic.

One of the best posts in this thread. I'm thinking BMW should follow along similar lines now that it seems it got pounced in the muscle car game.
