Do you have a copy of the auction sheet for the car? Are those verified Km's? If there is an asterisk or pound sign next to the Km's that means that they aren't verified and the odo has most likely been rolled back.

That said it does look to be a very low mileage car.

Nice car, curious as to how much it will fetch.

            Impossible...

I'm looking for a vert now. Maybe I should check Japan...

A sweet find. Looks pretty damn new.

Is the car in Canada or is it still in Japan?

It is still in Japan at this point. Rating from auction sheet was 4B - no asterisk on mileage and service records support the mileage (according to our broker since I cannot read Japanese!). It was a one owner car (until I bought it).

So, what's the price landed and brokered in Vancouver? You're not really "caught" with it. Just buy another car of equivalent value. Simple.

BTW Have you noticed the underpinning is "sprayed" black, even the diff and suspension. A minter should be original paint colour, and original aluminum diff cover.

Brake harder. Go faster. No shit.

Wow, hell of a find. Honestly I'd sit on it for another 5-10 years is possible. Take care of some of the rubber bits that degrade over time (t-belt, CV boots, anything that might be cracking/showing age) and do any leaking seals. Then put it in a nice climate-controlled garage, cover it and just hang out.
