Went and saw it last night with my sis and my girl friend. Good movie, great movie... In my humble opinion it hands down, was Cruise's best film yet. It was like Brave Heart but w/ asians. Go check it out. Nearly a 3 hour movie. However, you will find yourself on the edge of your seat close to the entire time.

Sounds like a must-see.
Maybe tomorrow when there are no lines. Take the bus from school to the mall to watch it.Erick Mahle | FullOpp Drift | YouTube

My wife and I agree with you guys, the movie rocked. We saw it the first day. I think it was closer to 2.5 hours, but it was so good at keeping your attention, it didn't seem nearly that long. The Japanese actors were incredible. Easily the best movie in..., well maybe since Titanic, if you can over look the downside.
The only downside was related to the story in that Tom Cruise's character, if you care at all about historical accuracy, should have been a German or other European military advisor. The whole U.S. civilwar theme, and T.C. hating his country by fighting for the Samurai are just your typical hollywood BS taking shots at the government .
