88 325i Manual. Absolutely loving it. She was sitting in a field for about a year, installed a slave cylinder on site and now she's back on the road. I've owned Pontiacs most of my live and now a Honda FIT. Even with its worn out struts and rough idle due to spark plugs that look like they have never been changed the car just feels amazing. I understand now what is meant by the "Ultimate Driving Machine". This is my first BMW, i'm sure it won't be my last.

Hey man, great score. I bet the car was happy to get rescued. When it acts up (they do, it will) remind it what it felt like to be abandoned like that. all dirty and misused and how you came along and rescued it.
I feel no shame at all in reminding mine how it was...always filthy, driven by a flaming homo, never seeing a proper apex, filthy oil, bad ball joints, shitty worn out suspension...real desperation, one step above a bus pass.
Many an issue has resolved itself after a stern warning of "I found you hiding in an alley in Portland, I can put your filthy ass back there too" and it becomes the subservient bitch it was made to be.
Yes, I love these cars. You will too.
Plus you will no longer have to think your car is a Cadillac.
Welcome to R3V.

It's about a 3 hr job and the belt is about $20.
