    Whats my car worth?

Ok, i bought this car last june, crashed, thinking it was a 325i. Upon further inspection, it's not. It's a 325e base model (my first e30). i finally got it running, and my insurance wants too much a month for me to afford to keep this project (i'm a student)

My problem is i have no idea what the car might or might not be worth. it has a lot off pros to it and a lot of cons, so i'll detail, each selling point, and draw back and see what you guys think

    1987 325 5sp
    12x,xxx miles
    mostly stock

    The good:
timing belt, water pump, intake manifold gasket, distributor cap and rotor 1k ago
    runs good
little to no rust (sat from 96 to 05, apparently... looks the part)
interior in near mint. leather is amazing
    working odometer
    complete tool kit.
    new rear tires.
    crackless dash
aftermarket deck, for cd player, and possibly iPod
    clean title

    The bad:
Was in accident, and face of car will need a lot of work to look right (although it should look close, by end of this weekend)
kind of a hose mess under hood, due to a modified heater core install
hood release cable and strut brace are both working, but tool to get past that are included with sale (vice grip and screw driver)
    No floor mats
    sunroof crank is broken
ac isn't hooked up (although i have the parts for it, and it maybe hook up this weekend)

As you can see it has a lot of quality pros, as well as a lot of regretful cons
E30s are hard to find in minnesota, so when i found this one, i jump for it w/o thinking about it a lot (very cheap)

A grand and the most. Get it as best you can for the least amount of money before you sell it if you can.

Give it to a charity and right it off on taxes.

my insurance is $46 a month, you need to worry less about how little your car is worth and more about getting insurance and driving/fixing it.

It's not worth much. A car is worth something like $200 in the metal alone.

Why not part that out and get something better?

I dont' have a lot of time... or space to part it out.

i guess it sounds like i'll be able to make a small profit off of it, or at least break even. thanks for the input guys. I'll probably buy another one september '11, if i have to end up selling my beloved pos.
