Keep me from buying a money pit!

Hey all, I'm looking at a 1990 325i that is in really pretty good shape except for a pretty good dent in the rear quarter panel. I know this is pretty much the worst place for a dent, but about how much would it actually cost to fix at average major east coast city rates?

Is it a dent from the side or a dent from being compressed from a rear end hit?

Oof, thanks guys. It is a dent from the side. I'm not sure what he did, but it's wrinkled almost from the rocker to the top of he wheel arch. I may have to keep waiting.
