    Sorry, I have no direct knowledge about what might or might not swap over. You could probably get just about anything on the car to work with modifications, but I can't imagine much will just bolt on.

    Be careful chasing the redline of you chip the car. There's a reason the limiter was so low on the eta engines; the single valve springs aren't going to necessarily be able to keep up if you're running it to the new higher redline all the time.

    Have you considered an engine swap? The 635's engine can be persuaded to fit in your chassis...with mods.

      Don't swap anything. Don't modify anything. Its just a basic BMW. Just make it run like it did from the factory and enjoy not having your teeth rattled out of your head. If you want to build a race car, then buy an M3.

        ^^ most people would flip that...

        more to the point, check your DME. On the s14 DME, a bad Idle Control Valve will fry two resistors that control idle in the computer, and changing the ICV won't fix the problem.
