Its a lot like 24 hrs. of Lemons. I met a guy at an autocross the other weekend who has competed in a few. Theres one coming up at Sebring (close to me), and I'll probably go to spectate. Has anyone participated or attended?

Sounds like a good race for an e30! I'll build one someday.

I plan to be there showing you guys some support! I think if I'm going to build a cheap car, I want to go wheel to wheel. And if it qualifies for chumpcar($500), it should also qualify for the grm challenge ($2000)

I have driven in a few Chump races. Much more laid back than Lemons. No curse and no penalty BS. Looking forward to the 2011 season.

This looks like alot of fun, but like the Lemons event, noone wanted to fork it over. We couldve made it happen with 4-5 guys but it was pretty costly.

I drove in that one and we placed 19th & 20th (we had 2 cars). Next year the word is that we are doing the north course at VIR.

Lots of fun and if you want to have real life wheel to wheel racing this is a very inexpensive way to do it. I can say that I am among the 1% of roadracers in the world that have run a 24 hour race. Hope you enjoy the blog.
