Hey there, I'm glad you are actually putting this thread to good use. If I were you, I would probably post a new thread with a different title about it. Maybe something like "Please help me un-stupid this e30."

First thing about the car, is I think you are asking wayyyy too much for the car. It still has 178k miles and it doesn't look very nice. You should be asking like $3000 - $4000.

    Good luck!

"The Camry is an appliance, not a car. It attracts folks who have the same regard for driving that they have for washing dishes,
i.e. it's a necessary but somewhat unpleasant chore and they want something to make the task a little easier and insulate them from the process."

It looks like the e46 color to me.

If you want to keep the car for yourself and put some work into it, I would repaint (you could also change the bodykit if you don't like it at the same time) and change the other cosmetic items if you don't like them.

If you just want to sell it, I would't bother with trying to fix it up too much. Just wait until you find someone who wants it.

There is one car on this forum that does well with that color, the problem is that that car is bonkers enough to pull it off.

Yup looks like they were trying to pull off the m3 phoenix gold color....and I agree it can be done but not in the state this car is in...... To the owner try to put it back to original condition,,, barter and trade with some guys on here for stock plastic bumpers, basketweaves and that will help immensley.

Don't know why i got a pm from you. But i'll just say what i said in it. "It's your car, you can do what you want with it. No need to change it to conform to everyone elses needs."

@OrganicMechanic: Actually, I have a full coverage insurance and was eagerly waiting for a hail storm around my area last spring but never happened. I was ready to put a golf ball in a regular socks and hit with circular motion for it to have a good hail damage. Burning it is actually one of my choice but it's too messy. For the meantime, I'll check out that E30 Cabrio owners group. Thanks.
