idk, to me thats the best thing about it. Imagine a similar scale re-make of the e30m3, mk1 escort, RS etc etc. The re-make of this car is what every car guy imagines a re-incarnation should be, imo.

Love the body and the idea of rolling in a stratos..
But I think the concept of the stratos was lost in the actual build..
Now Read this slow: I would give my left nut for a car setup like that... But the fact it's rolling v8, non transverse motor, built on what looks to be a cut down 355 frame reboded... leave litte true stratos feel... At a Huge Price tag..
On the other Hand if you want that true feel at a fraction of the price, I suggest looking in to the Hawk HF3000.
I will build one! I plan on using tha ford probe v6 with 6spd tranny as my power plant..
Unless I'm able to find a newer ecoboost v6 matted to a manual by the time I build
this...
Or if I'm lucky enough to find a company that builds my Epic Dream Car: Alpine A110
than I'll build that!

Thats exactly the sort of thing I hate lol. By making retro models, they're just saying "we have officially run out of ideas". If this car was built with the same thinking prosess that they had when making the original, but looked completely new and current, I would love it. This car is the opposite though- all the looks and none of the charisma.

I feel this way about all retro things. Let the past be, lets keep moving forward.

This one is based on the ferrari 430 i believe.

And it doesnt look as off road capable as the original.
